Founded in 2022 by PJ Hyett and Gunnar Jeannette, AO Racing has quickly established itself in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team competes with their distinctively liveried cars: “Rexy,” the Porsche 911 GT3 Rawr, and “Spike,” the Oreca LMP2 07. In the 2024 season, AO Racing clinched the GTD PRO team title, with driver Laurin Heinrich securing the driver’s championship. The team’s commitment to fan engagement and on-track excellence earned them IMSA’s inaugural Team Marketing Achievement Award in 2024. Looking ahead, AO Racing has confirmed the return of both “Rexy” and “Spike” for the 2025 season, aiming to build on their recent successes.

I dream of working with the team and helping contribute to creating a racing community like no other. My dream is to one day shoot for the AO Racing motorsport team in the IMSA WeatherTech racing championship and to travel and shoot for the team, promoting the sport and supporting the community they have created. I want to work collaboratively with the team’s partners with marketing and their drivers and the respective brands that creatively push the boundaries of their outreach to their community.
